Swiftheart glanced around the medicine cat den trying to take in all the new information that was ahead of her. It was all still so new to her being a new Med Cat apprentice was something she never thought or dreamed of while she was a warrior.

She worked on taking inventory of what they had and got a list together of what she needed more of.  Cobwebs, goldenrod and juniperberries were all running low in their supply stores.

She went out of the med den to look and see if she could find any warriors to join her on an herb hunt.

She didn't like being out alone and if no one was around she figured she could always get Birdstar to join her.

Embarrassment made Tawnyblossom's ears burn. She trotted at the back of the hunting patrol she'd been assigned, we'll aware how pitiful her own contribution was. While the others had two pieces of prey each, Tawnyblossom held between her teeth a lone, scrawny mouse.

The patrol entered through the camp entrance and were dismissed. Rather than follow the patrol, Tawnyblossom looked around to see if there was anybody she could give her mouse to. She had a feeling if she put it on the freshkill pile it would go to waste.

Luckily there WAS a lone cat. It wasn't one Tawnyblossom knew well, but she wouldn't mind getting to know her! She approached where Swiftheart stood, tilting her head upward to show the mouse. "Hi Swif'hear'!" She mewed around the mouse. "Wan' a mouse? Caugh' i' mehsel'!"

Swiftheart turned seeing the patrol coming back and gave a happy and very friendly smile to the warrior who was approaching her now. She also did not know this clanmate of hers very well yet but she hoped to change that for the better, she was very kind hearted and extraverted to the extreme- always eager to talk with clanmates. She flicked her tail side to side so happily with so much energy she always had as Tawnyblossom offered her a mouse that she had caught herself apperently too! Is what she was able to gather from the muffled speech around the mouth full.

With a playful squeal of young kit level energy she nodded happily and gladly accepted the gift and fresh meal. Being in training all over again to become medicine cat hadn't left her much time for hunting like when she was a warrior. She had not even been a warrior for long before she was assigned the med cat apprentice role. She found herself a bit overwhelmed by all the herbs to learn but she was determined and she had a good attitude about it as always.

"Thank you very much Tawnyblossom" she meowed as she munched at her meal.

"I was about to head out look for herbs - do you think you could come with me?"

She didn't like being alone - and although she used to be a warrior she hadn't practice sparring much at all recently - and also! She wanted someone for company, the friendly extravert that she was she didnt like being all alone.

"I understand if you are not wanting to go out again, since you just got back" she added on not wanting to pressure her new friend into anything.

As she finished her meal she flicked her tail for Tawnyblossom to come along if she picked to do so
