The moon sat high in the sky as its silvery light shined down on the Shadowclan camp. Frondleaf's tiny frame made its way out of the warrior's den and into the center of camp. She was no bigger than a newly appointed apprentice but what she lacked in size, she made up for in spunk! Her green eyes scanned though camping looking for any cat that seemed to be wasting their precious time doing nothing. Her eyes landed on a fellow warrior, and she quickly trotted over!

"Hiya Tigerbite! I was told to find someone to patrol with and you look like an ok candite! Let's go." Frondleaf mewed before turning around and heading for the swamp. She didn't really give the tortoiseshell molly time to respond before she disappeared into the night. The was no time to waste. She waited outside camp for a few moments and was about ready to turn around and snap at the older warrior, but they appeared before that!

"Good! We're gonna be patrolling the swamp area and making sure there are no Windclan cats on our area. Got it? Good! We'll stick together just in case we find something ok? Ok!" Frondleaf chirped before she flickered her tail motioning the molly to follow her. She didn't really want to stick together because of the danger risk but more because she wanted to make sure the job was done properly, but Tigerbite didn't need to know that.

Tigerbite didn't mind being dragged out for patrol, and even appreciated having a task. However, Frondleaf's chattering as if Tigerbite needed instruction was getting on her nerves. Tigerbite had been a warrior for as long as Frondleaf had been alive. She didn't need help. Her lip curled in distaste, but she was silent for now. She did, however, stare at that twitching tail signaling follow me and daydreamed about swiping it out of the air. Maybe even with unsheathed claws.

The duo drifted through the swamp and the more time passed without talking, the more Tigerbite allowed herself to... well, not relax, but ease. She scented the air for any WindClan cats, but the other clan seemed to be respecting the border, at least for now. Objectively, that was a good thing, but she wouldn't have minded a chance to show off some ShadowClan might.

She brushed against some trees and bushes to strengthen the scent border and glanced at Frondleaf. Had the other cat found anything? Tigerbite didn't want to waste her breath asking that aloud, and if Frondleaf missed the look, Tigerbite wouldn't be bothered. She hadn't missed anything, after all, and was mostly just being a polite clanmate by asking - silently - for confirmation.
