HISTORY

► Maplekit was born in Windclan to two former kittypets, alongside their siblings Sycamorekit and Tulipkit. She spent most of her time either following her siblings around, going where she was not allowed, or daydreaming in her nest.
Initially, she wanted to be a medicine cat when she became an apprentice-- but Maplekit quickly found the prospect too pressuring on her shoulders, never even making it to the Glowing Cavern to receive her name as a medicine cat's apprentice. She was instead apprenticed to a senior warrior named Littleflame.
Maplepaw swiftly made herself known as a natural hunter, her dark pelt blending seamlessly into the dark of the moors at night -- and only once or twice was she scolded for hunting too much, to boot. She likely should have been named after this talent, but a last-minute suggestion from her mentor had Mapleheart honoured for her good and gentle nature instead.
Mapleheart has been serving Windclan has a fully-fledged warrior in peace for a year now -- but the sight of her own territory is beginning to grow stale on her eyes, and the rules are beginning to feel less and less important.
