DETAILED ✧ cranberrythorn is, if nothing else, a fierce and wily cat with a rather strong personality. she is incredibly patriotic and deeply loyal to skyclan, rarely showing sympathy for those outside of her clan. she cares for her reputation and refuses to be overlooked, outspoken when it comes to important discussions on clan matters. a politician. she loves games and anything that might bring out her competitive side, especially training. she enjoys running and climbing and is an outstanding hunter. enjoys talking battle tactics. she is strict when it comes to the code and to her apprentices. tends to avoid talking about her emotions. fears and reveres starclan but rarely speaks about them. relies on her own moral compass. spitfire and sarcastic. stubborn and argumentative at times. has a way of doing things and likes to do it that way. good in times of stress or pressure. problem-solving attitude. can act rashly if triggered.

MOON 0 ✧ cranberrykit, goldenkit, and redkit born to sunstone and willowsnap amidst their breakup. perfect opening, right?
MOON 2 ✧ surprise, surprise, the family's dysfunctional. willowsnap fights with sunstone every time he visits the nursery, inhibiting his ability to bond with his children. why does dad make mom so mad?
MOON 4 ✧ around their mother, the kits are quiet and reserved. willowsnap often gives them and the nursery an earful about how much sunstone sucks. apparently he's been seen with a new she-cat. the three siblings can't wait to get out of the nursery. they often get in trouble to subconsciously get their father's attention.
MOON 6 ✧ finally! independence! the three kits-turned-apprentices flee the nursery and make their nests as quickly as possible. there are older apprentices named dawnpaw, mesquitepaw, and rainpaw. while rainpaw is tolerable, the other two quickly begin to nitpick at the three siblings about their parents. cranberrypaw bites her tongue for now, but she hates to see how sad it makes goldenpaw.
MOON 7 ✧ cranberrypaw's training is going excellently. she asserts herself as rather agile and quick. sunstone visits a training session and then takes his children on a walk through the forest. the three are very happy, but return to find a furious willowsnap. she shouts at them and says they are no kits of hers if they will associate with filth. cranberrypaw and redpaw induce a silence when they fiercely hiss in her face. who needs her anyway?
MOON 9 ✧ cranberrypaw fails her first assessment. dawnpaw makes a face and she couldn't take it anymore. they get into a fight that is quickly broken up by cranberrypaw's mentor. she is in trouble and unable to go to the gathering. while she's in her nest sulking, a newer apprentice named dapplepaw comforts her despite her mood and makes her laugh.
MOON 11 ✧ cranberrypaw passes her assessments. she and dapplepaw grow very close and often spend time alone together after training. tensions between she and her sister, redpaw, are high and goldenpaw has to act as mediator. they're so similar, you know? cranberrypaw bares her teeth whenever she sees her mother. teenage angst all the way.
MOON 12 ✧ sunstone tells his children he is expecting kits with his new mate, squirrelfern. the three are excited to meet their new siblings in the coming moons. they all earn their warrior names. that night, cranberrythorn admits to dapplepaw that she wishes to be more than friends. dapplepaw agrees that they will figure it out when she earns her name.
MOON 15 ✧ sunstone and squirrelfern welcome two kits; thornkit (which squirrel fern said was named for cranberrythorn) and smallkit. only days later sunstone dies when he is ambushed by a fox on the crescent field. squirrelfern is distraught. cranberrythorn remains strong for her family. did willowsnap really snicker when she passed his body? on a brighter note, dapplenose earns her warrior name.
MOON 17 ✧ she and dapplenose become public mates. she and redthistle have beef again. whatever. goldentail is always around to keep the peace.
MOON 25 ✧ cranberrythorn opens up to dapplenose about her complicated relationship with her mother. this is no small thing. as she is venting, dapplenose oddly seems to be justifying some of what willowsnap did. how could she? the two have a huge fight and don't talk for a few days. when cranberrythorn is finally ready to put it behind them, she catches dapplenose and willowsnap speaking. how embarrassing! unable to look past her feelings of betrayal, she breaks up with dapplenose.
MOON 25-PRESENT ✧ cranberrythorn focuses solely on her duties as a warrior and her relationships with her siblings. forget everyone else! she was going to serve skyclan as best she could. she mentors her first apprentice and sees firsthand what it is like to watch a kit grow into a warrior. truly enjoys it.
